Welcome to the Marketing Committee page! Our committee is very different compared to the rest of USGA, comprised of extremely specialized positions all focused on spreading the word of our work to the student body. The Senators work on the student body’s behalf, the Marketing Committee is there to ensure the student body knows of the Senators’ work.
My goal as Director of Marketing & Events is to re-establish communication through different forms of media and outreach that is relevant and appealing to the current college student. Communication with the student body is critical to the success of our organization, as student feedback is imperative for adapting our initiatives to positively impact as many Dragons as possible. Now that we are back on campus, you will find USGA hosting events, along with having our general body meetings, otherwise known as Joint Session, in person. Committee Positions
Visual Lead
The Visual Lead, unofficially the second in command for the Marketing Committee, is responsible for overseeing all of the organizations visual media. Their primary duties are focused on project anagement and the maintenance of USGA's brand identity. Their secondary duties are designing graphics in tandem with USGA's Graphic Designers.
Graphic Designer
Likley the most specialized position in all of USGA, Graphic Designers are critical to the success of our organization. Under the leadership of the Visual Lead, they design all Instagram posts and event fliers. As non-voting members, there is currently no limit to the number of graphic designers that can sit on USGA at one time.
Digital Media Manager
The Digital Media Manager oversees all USGA social media accounts and the upkeep of the USGA website.
Photographer/Videographer
The Photographer and Videograper are part-time USGA positions that help the Marketing Committee acquire media on initatives.
