Student Organization

Tasnim Taifa

Student Organization Chair

Welcome to the Student Organizations Committee (SOC) page! Our committee is focused on working to help students create and grow their student organizations. With over 300 established organizations on our campus and with our involvement in the yearly new organization application and recognition processes, our committee is constantly in contact with student leaders. As SOC continues the transition to becoming an initiative-focused committee, we will continue to work closely with the student leaders to work on initiatives centered on the betterment of the organizations on campus.

As chair of SOC for the 25-26 year, my goal is to connect with as many student organizations as possible in order to gain necessary feedback to improve their experience. I am also working with my committee to streamline the recognition and new organization process to make it more efficient and easier to navigate. Student organizations are the foundation of the student experience at Drexel, and this is why I want to provide you with the developmental resources to help you grow as student organization leaders! Please send any questions, concerns, or feedback to usgasoac@drexel.edu.
