Welcome to the Newsletter Committee page! The purpose of USGA’s newsletter is to inform the student body of current and recently completed initiatives in order to update on USGA accomplishments and improve what the student body knows of our organization. The Director of Communications and the Director of Marketing & Events work together, alongside any other Senator who wishes to join, to create a newsletter for the student body. Our newsletters include topics like committee updates, highlighting our University’s other student organizations, Pictures from our events, Q&A from different members or administration, USGA’s future plans, a current school issue that needs student feedback, etc. Our process begins in Week 1 of the term, is sent to Marketing around Week 3 or 4, and sent to administration for final approval in Week 7. Finally, at Week 8 the Newsletter is released to the entire student body via Drexel email. This committee is always open to content suggestions from all members of our organization as well as students, regardless of class.
